The 34L size hit the sweet spot for me—fits a long weekend's clothes plus my laptop and a book, and the carry handles make it easy to grab from the overhead bin. That black finish hides scuffs from airport floors surprisingly well, too.
Packed this for a three-day city break and the 34L swallowed everything without looking bulky on my back. The straps stayed comfortable even when I was hauling it through the train station for an hour, and the black fabric shrugged off a light drizzle.
The zipper glides so smoothly it's almost therapeutic, and the 34L capacity swallowed a full week of clothes without turning into a black hole. It handled the chaos of a weekend conference plus hiking detour without a single snag.
