I was a little annoyed at first because I had to buy these separately from my press, but the fine-pored paper makes a cleaner cup than any metal mesh I've tried. The 350 filters last me months, and there's zero papery aftertaste even in the first brew.
The paper thickness feels just right—filters sit snug in the chamber without any tearing or warping. I’ve brewed a couple dozen cups now and noticed zero grit or grounds in my mug, even with the fine grind I use.
I've burned through boxes of cheap filters that tear or add a papery taste, so these feel noticeably denser and cleaner. The fine pores really do keep the grind out of the cup, and 350 sheets means I won't be reordering for months.
