After a long day on the trail, setting up camp is so much faster with this mat—it inflates on its own in just a few minutes. The 5cm thickness really makes a difference; I slept through the night without feeling any rocks underneath me.

I was skeptical about self-inflating mats, but this one packs down smaller than my sleeping bag and still gives me a solid 5 cm of cushion on rocky ground.
