Went camping last weekend and a gust snapped one of the tent poles clean in half. This replacement strut matched the original perfectly, slid right into the sleeve, and the whole frame held steady through a night of heavy wind. Feels just as sturdy as the factory part, if not more so.
The spare strut went in without any fuss and the weatherproofing on the joints feels reassuringly solid. I’ve had it up through two windy nights and a downpour, and everything stayed dry. It’s nice to have a backup that actually fits the original frame perfectly.
The repair kit covers exactly what’s listed, so I could patch the leak on my tent without having to buy a whole new part. The extra-robust material feels reassuringly thick when I handle it, and the fix has held up fine after two rainy nights.
