At 142 grams each, these bowls are almost laughably light for how sturdy they feel. I've used mine for both steaming hot stew and a cold fruit salad on the same trip, and the enamel cleaned up without a single chip.
I wasn't expecting much from a bowl that weighs only 142 grams, but it's held up through boiling stews and ice-cold yogurt without a single chip. The handles stay cool enough to grip, which makes it perfect for cozy campfire dinners.
These have taken a proper beating on our last two camping trips—hot stew one night, cold fruit the next morning—and the enamel is still flawless. They stack neatly in the pack and barely register on the carry weight. Honestly, I'm surprised how sturdy they feel for something so light.
