Took this tent out in a heavy windstorm last weekend, and the geodesic dome construction with ten intersection points barely flexed. I was able to keep the inner space dry and comfortable despite the rain. It’s a beast for serious four-season camping.
Finally got this set up in my backyard to test it before a winter trip, and those ten intersection points on the geodesic dome really do make it feel rock solid. The black and red color scheme looks sharp against the snow, and I'm confident it'll handle whatever the mountains throw at it.
Was a bit nervous taking this into the alpine forecast for snow, but the geodesic dome frame held up perfectly against strong gusts all night. The black/red color scheme looks sharp against the whiteout conditions.
