Whether in combination with a tent or on its own, the tarp set offers ideal protection from sun, wind and rain. It includes a tarp as well as tarp poles and pegs for tensioning and securing the tarp. Links to the individual items can be found in the scope of delivery.
The poles feel sturdy and the pegs held firm even in gusty wind, so the whole setup stayed rock solid over two nights. Grey color blends nicely into the woods, and it shed a heavy downpour without a single drip seeping through.
Took this out for a rainy weekend and the tarp handled the wind and downpour without a single sag in the lines—the poles feel solid once they're pegged in. Setup was quick enough that I'd use it on its own for shade next time.
The pegs are surprisingly sturdy for the weight, and the whole set went up in under ten minutes on my own. Took a solid afternoon of wind and sideways rain with zero sagging or flapping once I got the tension right. Exactly what I wanted for a solo camp base.
